Vellie ("we", "our", or "the App") is a household appliance, bill, and warranty vault designed with privacy and family data ownership as foundational principles.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and Firebase Authentication identifier when you sign in.
• Household Purchase Records: Appliance invoices, receipts, product serial numbers, warranty certificates, and service logs that you explicitly upload or capture.

2. How We Process Your Documents

Uploaded invoices and receipt photos are processed solely to extract appliance ownership details, calculate warranty coverage, and organize your family vault. We never sell your personal data or purchase history to advertisers or third-party brokers.

3. Data Storage, Security & Export

When you request nearby service, the app can use approximate device location to open Google Maps. Vellie does not store this location. Manufacturer research sends only public brand, category and model details for web search, never invoice contents, serial numbers or account identity. Your documents are stored in a household vault with authenticated membership checks and served over HTTPS/TLS. Invoice contents may be sent to DeepSeek for extraction or answers when you use AI features. You can download original bills individually or together in a ZIP archive, request household records, or delete your Vellie account from inside the app or via our Account & Vault Deletion page.
